Celebrate the 230th anniversary of the National Gallery Prague with free admission to all permanent exhibitions all weekend long, plus a rich program of free events!
On Saturday, 7 February, there will also be free admission to the exhibition Aleš Veselý: Alešville – Retrospective. You can look forward to a series of guided tours focused on the most popular works, as selected by NGP experts, workshops for different age groups, as well as theatre and performance events.
Through these celebrations, we commemorate the historic moment when a group of aristocrats founded the Society of Patriotic Friends of the Arts on 5 February 1796, the first predecessor of today’s National Gallery Prague.
