The National Gallery in Prague and Galerie Rudolfinum have the pleasure of inviting you to the opening ceremony of the exhibition Hynek Martinec: Voyage to Iceland.
The exhibition The Art of Asia in the Kinsky Palace was closed down on February 25, 2018. Some of its exhibits will, however, be displayed in the Trade Fair Palace in the form of the so-called schaudepot, an open depository, until a permanent Asian exhibition will open in Hradčanské Square later this year.
On Saturday, April 7, from 11 AM to 3 PM the 2nd floor of the Sternberg Palace is closed, due to the installation of the art work by Mat Collishaw: A Different Self.
On Thursday, February 15, we are opening a new exhibition season in the Trade Fair Palace. Due to preparations the Palace will be closed at 5 pm. We are looking forward to seeing you at our Grand Opening 2018 at 7 p.m.!
On Wednesday, February 7 at 7 pm, French philosopher and professor emeritus at the University Paris VIII in Saint-Denis, Jacques Rancière, will present his lecture The Politics of Fiction.
The National Gallery in Prague celebrates 222st anniversary of its establishment on February 3–4. On these days, admission to all permanent exhibitions of the National Gallery in Prague is free.
