Vojtěch Verner graduated in Wood Carving from the Higher Professional School of Applied Art, later studying Restoration of Sculptures at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He focuses on the restoration of sculptures made of plaster, stone, artificial stone, and wood; furthermore, he restores polychrome layers on these materials. Currently, Vojtěch Verner’s work in the National Gallery Prague also includes participating on the restoration of artworks made of modern materials.
In the National Gallery Prague, he restores sculpture artworks, preparing them for NGP exhibitions and for loans to galleries in the Czech Republic and abroad. Vojtěch Verner supervises artwork transportation, as well as the state of artwork in expositions and loans to external exhibitions.
