Kristýna Rendlová focuses on the art and visual culture of the Islamic world, with a particular interest in the Turko-Persianate regions, and on the history of collecting Islamic art in the Czech lands. She is currently completing her doctoral studies at The Khalili Research Centre for the Art and Material Culture of the Middle East, the University of Oxford. She has undertaken fellowships at Harvard University (USA), Universidad de Granada (Spain), Bosphorus University and Istanbul Technical University (Turkey), and the Victoria and Albert Museum (United Kingdom).
