The National Gallery closed until further notice
The National Gallery Prague closed exhibitions in all its buildings, cancels programs for the public and postpones the opening date of the Old Masters II exhibition. With regard to measures against the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, all museum and gallery institutions will be closed from Monday 12 October 2020 until further notice, in accordance with a government decree. The National Gallery Prague is therefore also forced to close its exhibitions and expositions and cancel all programs for the public. Purchased tickets for accompanying NGP programs can be claimed through the GoOut. For updates of dates and programs and more information, follow the NGP website and Facebook, through which we will continue to bring online content. On October 16, the exhibition Old Masters II was to be ceremoniously opened in the Sternberg Palace. A new date for opening the exhibition is under negotiation and will be announced as soon as the situation allows.
