360° VIRTUAL TOURS
The National Gallery Prague together with the Bohemian Heritage Fund prepared interactive virtual tours of selected permanent exhibitions of the National Gallery. The tours were technically processed by the VR_MUSASHI and Scan3D studios. They are accessible to viewers for free.
- The virtual tour of the permanent exhibition 1796–1918: Art of the Long Century includes curators texts.
- The newly made virtual tour maps the extensive permanent exhibition of the Old Masters in the Schwarzenberg Palace, which is divided into three parts. With the green button, viewers can also visit other floors of the exhibition space.
HOW OUR CONSERVATORS RESTORE PAINTINGS
In a video series created in the cooperation of the NGP and Czech Centers, an art historian Veronika Wolf will walk you through iconic artworks from the gallery’s collections across centuries that resonate even in foreign countries. Thanks to this project, they will be presented for example in Japan, Korea, USA, Israel, France or Greece. The videos are in Czech with English subtitles.
