Zuzana Žilková graduated in Restoration of Painted Artworks and Polychrome Sculptures from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, Studio of Professor Karel Stretti, under the supervision of Associate Professor Adam Pokorný. Currently, she is a doctoral student there, with a dissertation project concerning the conservation survey of Jan Kupecký’s work and his painting technique. In the National Gallery Prague, she focuses especially on the Collection of Old Masters. Zuzana Žilková restores paintings on various types of materials, conducts conservation surveys, ensures continuous collection fund artwork care, cooperating on exhibitions and long-term expositions. Her professional education includes regular participation in specialist workshops, conferences, and seminars.
