Barbora Bartyzalová has been a restorer in the Collection of Asian and African Art of the National Gallery since 2014. Aside from restoring, it is her task to prepare works for exhibition projects, take care of the fund, and realise conservation surveys. She graduated in Restoration from the Faculty of Restoration, University of Pardubice in Litomyšl (2011). Barbora Bartyzalová is interested in paper conservation, related materials, and Asian artworks. She became professionally educated in the field via study stays in the Study of Oriental Artwork Conservation at Nicolaus Copernicus University (Toruń, Poland), and through expert courses organised by the Tokyo National Research Institute for Cultural Properties, ICCROM, and the Palace Museum in Beijing.
