Ing. et Bca. Martina Bajeux Kmoníčková

Martina Bajeux Kmoníčková focuses on artwork nature and the identification of organic and inorganic art materials using instrumental analysis methods, especially electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectroscopy, optical microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and X-ray fluorescence analysis. She has made expert contributions to analyses of decorative techniques in Medieval art and French and Spanish works. While working in the NGP Laboratory, she participates in the investigation of research projects from the programmes of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, and in professional collaboration with other scientific workplaces (University of Chemistry and Technology Prague, Institute of Criminalistics of the Police of the Czech Republic).
