Ing. Kateřina Hricková

Kateřina Hricková focuses on artwork material analyses and research into historical art techniques, specialising in the identification of organic and inorganic fine art materials using optical microscopy and modern instrumental methods (Raman spectroscopy, X-ray fluorescence analysis). In her work for the NGP, she participates in the investigation of research projects from the programmes of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. Kateřina Hricková builds on her professional expertise by working in associated specialised and collecting workplaces (Department of Chemical Technology of Monument Conservation UCT Prague, National Heritage Institute). She has co-authored impact-factor publications, regularly taking part in conferences at home and abroad.
