Annual exhibition of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (AAAD/UMPRUM)
The annual exhibition of UMPRUM in Prague presents a selection of work by students created during the course of the last school year. Apart from the actual exhibits, the exhibition attempts, by means of commentaries by the expert public, to bring a critical view also of the issue of art education itself as well as the actual institution. UMPRUM ATTACK! aims to create a critical platform that will help generate feedback to the school and at the same time present this institution to the public as an environment of creative chaos, open experimentation, professional discipline, proud tradition and the compulsion to take a stance in opposition to it.
