David Stecker primarily explores the technological possibilities of digital photography and their application in the art-historical research and presentation of artworks. He seeks to interconnect the world of art with that of technology and constantly pushes the possibilities of digitizing items in the collections towards greater complexity and systemization.
He has worked as head of the Photography Studio since 2011. In 2010, he completed his MA studies in photography at the Prague Film School (FAMU). Since 2014, he has worked as a teacher at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague and, since 2016, as assistant in the Studio of Classic Photography of FAMU. He co-organizes workshops of classic photography held by the NGP.
