Born in Jičín, Hana Nováková completed her studies in Flat and Plastic Metal Engraving at the Higher Professional School of Applied Arts in Turnov, and the Higher Technical School in Jablonec nad Nisou, focusing on minted coins and medals. At the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, she studied Restoration of Sculptures under the supervision of Professor Petr Siegl. In the National Gallery Prague, Hana Nováková concentrates mainly on the conservation of artworks and collection items, specialising in unpolychromed natural and artificial stone, bronze, ceramics, and plaster.
