This exhibition guide concentrates on following the relationship between art and music from the Renaissance up to the present. The aim is to show the breadth of this theme and the changing approaches over time of the artists creating in the context of this theme. The purpose is not to capture the visualisation of music in a complex or cross-section manner or to give, in the case of modern art, an overall historical view of creative work with sound. For the individual artistic periods partial motifs were selected which gave a deeper look at the selected problems.
