Dr. Julia Tatiana Bailey, Ph.D.
Julia Tatiana Bailey specialises in the visual culture of the Cold War, with particular focus on the art of Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, and the United States. She has previously worked at Tate Modern, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and Royal Academy of Arts in London and Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC. At the National Gallery Prague, she is responsible for exhibitions (including the retrospective of Alberto Giacometti, 2019), publications, and research projects concerning the collection of Czech and international art from 1938 to the present day. In 2020 she has been awarded an International Fellowship from the Association of Art Museum Curators.
