This year´s most sought-after exhibitions of the National Gallery in Prague in Kinsky Palace and the Wallenstein Riding School are open only until Sunday, September 1. The exhibitions Gerhard Richter and František Skála Riding School are open daily from 10 a.m. to 8. p.m.
The exhibition of the artist, man of the theatre and singer František Skála introduces very originally his works from 2004 to the present day. Some of these were even created specifically for the Wallenstein Riding School. The project is supplemented by the so-called Rugged Stand at Malostranské Square.
The Gerhard Richter exhibition is the first retrospective of this author in Central and Eastern Europe. Over seventy works present all facets of Richter´s works from photo-realistic paintings to geometric abstractions.
Both exhibitions are accompanied by videos where the artists Gerhard Richter and František Skála personally introduce their oeuvres.
