This exhibition, organized by the Eleutheria Foundation in cooperation with the National Gallery in Prague - Collection of Modern and Contemporary Art, will present more than a hundred artworks related to the development of propaganda in Vietnam in the 1960s-1990s.

Twenty-one posters have been provided by The Dogma Collection gallery in Saigon, which houses the largest collection of Vietnamese art.

These propaganda posters are arranged in chronological order and depict two phases of development. The first is dedicated to the struggle for national unification and the subsequent war with the United States that continued until the 1970s. The second represents the period, during which the poster became a means to emphasize the leading role of the Communist Party in Vietnamese society. This phase brought different challenges - not those posed by the numerous previous invasions (by France, the United States and China), but rather those presented by modernization.
