Jan Křížek: Solitaire in Search of Truth
Curator: Anna Pravdová
Jan Křížek (1919-1985) is one of the 20th century's most original Czech artists. He lived in France from 1947 to the end of his life, producing most of his artworks there. Although primarily a sculptor, he left behind much drawing, painting and graphic work, which served him in his search for new forms of expression. The Graphic Cabinet will present a selection of Jan Křížek's drawings, graphic sheets and sculptures from the collections of the National Gallery in Prague.
