The retrospective exhibition presents two distinct, dichotomous yet linked elements of the paintings of Tomáš Rajlich: structure and texture. Rajlich's work is presented in the context of two manners of reflecting his identity. One was prepared by the Dutch art critic Philips Peters, the other by the exhibition's curator Tomáš Vlček. Both find unique sources of Rajlich's work in the advancing positions and concepts of international art of the second half of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries.
